And hotels can be cheaper in certain parts of the country. So, until we figure out where we're going, it is hard to judge the budget. In fact, I am probably going to work up two different itineraries with prices, and let everyone vote on which itinerary we do. But one thing to know, July/August is high season and hotels are generally more expensive during this time frame. I, personally, am planning on 3500-4000 for the whole trip - the varation is airfare cost ($2500 not including airfare). It’s more like $2500 not including airfare.
